H.E. MR. Robert Khachatryan

Mr. Khachatryan is PhD at Technical Science, he graduated the Institute of Informatics and Automation Problems of National Academy of Science of the Republic of Armenia with the topic of “Improvement of data mining algorithms and application in control systems”. He studied at the faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics at the Russian-Armenian University, with the major in Mathematics and system programming.

Since April, 2022 Mr. Khachatryan is appointed as a Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia. Before he was a Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia. Before the public position starting from 2007 he held different positions from Assistant to the Director and later Director at private companies which are specialized in providing solutions in the field of power distribution, renewable energy, industrial automation in partnership with international companies. Few years he was involved in a project of synthetic sapphire crystal growing plant as a Commercial Director.

Between 2008 and 2013 he was a Junior researcher at Institute for Informatics and Automation Problems of National Academy of Science of the Republic of Armenia.

During his career, Mr. Khachatryan has participated in a number of projects from IT and HighTech fields that were committed to increasing of productivity with the help of process automation and integration of technical solutions.
